Local artist Bonita Ely’s cross-disciplinary artworks typically explore environmental and socio-political issues, as seen in the image above, Menindee Fish Kill (2019), which depicts her concern for vulnerable natural environments.
Bonita's current work addresses the Great Artestian Basin (GAB) natural environment in the vicinity of the Adani mine. Bonita's work can be seen at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) - until 6 November, and Goulburn Regional Art Gallery - until 7 October 2022. Read more about Bonita here
