Thank you to all the artists who contributed to the EDGE Art Camp on the GreenWay program. Thanks also to the local community and visitors who braved the rain to come and meet the artists and enjoy the art. To see some of the art created by our very own community of artists take a look at the Great (Art) outdoors competitors and vote for your favourite creation.
On 18 June you are invited to a special celebration to mark the Little Greece precinct at the newly renovated Alex Trevallion Plaza and Ox King's Perfect Match mural 'Hestia's Migration' depicting the ancient Greek goddess Hestia in the modern Australian context of the Greek migrant story.
And on 19 June you can head down to the Community Refugee Welcome Centre in Callan Park for The Spirit of Welcome, a free event with music, food, markets and workshops showcasing the cultural and artistic contributions refugees make to the community and help demonstrate the Inner West's welcoming spirit.
