Get ready for a fun-filled day of music, crafts, games, and community spirit at Inner West Kids Fest, returning to Enmore Park on Saturday 14 February 2026!

Enjoy a mix of creative workshops, interactive games, art activities, and sports challenges with awesome prizes and giveaways up for grabs.

Plus, discover local food stalls and enjoy plenty more family fun under the summer sun.

Ryka Ali

Ryka's heritage stems from the Yidinji clans of Cairns, the Kuku Yalinji clans of Mossman & the Torres Strait Islands. A winner in the Young, Black & Deadly Talent Quest (2203) he is a proud ambassador for Australia's indigenous youth. Ryka has performed his presentations in schools, festivals and cultural events throughout Australia & the world.

The Magic Yellow Bus is a free activities and community information service held at local parks. This mobile play group is for children aged 0 to 6 years and their families. The Magic Yellow Bus supports children with their families to develop language and literacy skills, extend their imagination in a fun environment, develop numeracy and cognitive skills, develop social and emotional skills, and learn to listen and communicate.

Paint Inner West REaD

 

Paint Inner West REaD is an early literacy movement that is driven by many champions across the community. Research promotes reading with children from birth to prepare them with the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. We aim to make resources available for sharing stories by providing storytime events Book Swap Boxes across the Inner West. We have a book loving mascot, a pelican named Garranga Bumarri who loves to make appearances were stories, songs, and playing happen because books make brains grow! Join us for a storytime mat and find a pre-loved book to keep.

Aquatics 

Inner West Aquatics and Recreation will be at Kids Fest to answer all your questions about our Swim School programs, including Learn to Swim and Squads, and to guide you through program options and the enrolment process. Drop by our stall for fun games, great prizes, and a visit from our Aquatics mascot Terry the Turtle, who’ll be there from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Make sure you grab a selfie with Terry before you head off to enjoy the rest of the festivities!

SES 

Hands-on fun with SES!
Kids can explore an SES truck, try a flood boat, the throw bag challenge, and haul Mum or Dad in a z-rig! Plus, Flood Water is Yucky, Paddy the Platypus, Spin & Win, and a marquee with local flood info for grown-ups.
