Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre Upgrade

Project address: Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre, Black Street, Marrickville

Project description: This project is to replace end of life plant at the aquatic centre and improve sustainability and energy performance. Planned works include:

Stage 1:

• Replacement of aluminium composite cladding on roof structure

Stage 2:

• Replacement of heating and cooling plant
• Expand existing solar panels
• Upgrade pool hall lighting

Progress: Project is in planning and design stage.

Expected timeframes: 

• Stage 1: January 2024-July 2024 (weather permitting)
• Stage 2: March 2025-September 2025
  

Budget: Stage 1: $2M
