Enjoy show-stopping live performances from world-class Portuguese artists, along with all your favourite authentic flavours, from fresh Portuguese tarts to sizzling bifanas and much more...
Families can dive into free creative workshops and interactive activities, while an all-day DJ booth and dancefloor keep the festa alive from morning to night.
You can also explore a bustling art and craft market celebrating local makers and creators. With licensed bars pouring Portuguese wines, ice-cold beer and refreshing sangria, everyone is invited to celebrate in the heart of Sydney’s Portuguese community.

Grupo Folclorico Da Madeira
Established 24 years ago, Grupo Folclórico da Madeira is dedicated to preserving and promoting Madeira’s traditional music, dance, and customs. Its members come from Madeira, the Azores, other parts of Portugal, or are of Portuguese descent. Performances celebrate the island’s folklore through lively dances and folk songs about love, nature, and daily life, accompanied by traditional instruments such as the brinquinho and the bombo. The group’s choreography and music reflect Madeira’s rural roots, maritime heritage, and festive traditions.

Aldeias de Portugal
Founded in 1975 by Carlos Gonçalves and members of the Portuguese community, Aldeias de Portugal was the first Portuguese folkloric dance group in Sydney and Australia. Debuting in 1976, it now celebrates 48 years of promoting Portuguese culture across Australia including Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Armidale and overseas in Macau. The group has performed for Pope John Paul II, Queen Elizabeth II, and at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, among many other events.

Ricardo Steyer Choro Ensemble is a vibrant Sydney-based group dedicated to traditional and contemporary Choro music. Led by acclaimed 7-string guitarist Ricardo Steyer, the ensemble features some of Sydney’s top musicians on mandolin, flute, sax, clarinet, and pandeiro, bringing the rich spirit of this Brazilian genre to life. They perform at private and corporate events and host traditional rodas de choro celebrating Choro’s improvisational style. |

Fado In Australia is a Sydney-based band that was formed 16 years ago, thanks the passion of Portuguese immigrants who yearned for their native musical roots and decided to bring it back to the Australian Portuguese community. Their music is a unique Iberian melting pot, blending elements from Moorish, African, and Brazilian styles and performing traditional Fado styles ranging from contemporary to the classics.
