Film talk: Magnificently bad movies - a love letter to the unwatchable

Some films are so bad they're brilliant. This talk is a celebration of those movies.

Join Michael Adams, film critic and author of Showgirls, Teen Wolves and Astro Zombies, and Nat Cheney, founder of Sydney's Best Worst Movie Club, for a fun, honest look at cinema's most gloriously misfired moments.

Expect great stories, terrible creative decisions, and a genuine love of films that somehow got made anyway.

About the speakers:

Michael Adams has spent decades writing about film as reviews editor of Empire Australia, and for Rolling Stone, Rotten Tomatoes and more. He wrote a whole book searching for the worst movie ever made. He's also appeared in a Z-grade horror film and once got shot in the head (on screen). He lives in the Blue Mountains.

Nat Cheney is the founder of Nauti Studios, a non-profit creative community space in Sydney. She also runs Best Worst Movie Club, a monthly event where fans gather to watch, discuss and laugh at hilariously bad films together.
