Whites Creek Valley Park

Piper, Smith and White Streets, Annandale

Whites Creek was originally a natural waterway that was concreted to improve sanitation. The area around Whites Creek is now a natural park with a range of facilities including a playground, basketball court, BBQ, picnic tables and community garden.

The area includes the Whites Creek Wetland, a sediment and purification pond. The wetland performs important ecological functions, such as filtering stormwater before it reaches Rozelle Bay and providing habitat for frogs, long-necked turtles, native fish, insects, birds and other fauna.
