Young Creatives Awards

The search is on for this year’s Young Creatives Awards.

If you are seriously talented and aged 12-24, we want to hear from you.

Submit your short film, writing and visual art entries to us before 21 August. There’s a bigger than ever cash prize pool and exposure for the shortlisted entries with film screenings, public exhibitions and live readings.

Important information about library services

Our catalogue system is getting an upgrade. The works are essential and will improve the user experience.

During the upgrade customers will be unable to access the catalogue or reserve PCs and rooms.

When: 7am, Thursday 30 May until Friday 31 May.

What is unaffected: All libraries will be open as normal, you can return items to the front desk and borrow from the physical collection. To book a room or PC you will need to visit the library and speak to staff.
Printing services are unaffected.

What is affected: Accessing the catalogue and borrowing from the digital collection is not possible during the upgrade.
