Dear resident,

We are writing to let you know that the Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese will be addressing the Inner West Council's BBQ for the Voice to Parliament at 2.00PM this Saturday February 18 at Petersham Park.

Linda Burney, the Minister for Indigenous Australians and Aunty Pat Anderson, Co-author of the Uluru Statement will also address the BBQ.

The nearby Petersham Bowlo has also come on board with renowned Aboriginal country artist Vic Simms playing a free gig for the community as part of the event.

Representatives of local churches, schools, sports clubs and ethnic community organisations have all confirmed their attendance at the event.

There’s also free entry to Fanny Durack Aquatic centre, a free sausage sizzle as well as the chance to learn about the Uluṟu Statement From the Heart and the Voice to Parliament from our trained community volunteers.
