Heritage Festival 2019 program

Conncecting People Places and the Past image
The 2019 Heritage Festival is now live and open for bookings.
Please join us as we explore the rich history of the inner west and highlight the people who have shaped our vibrant neighbourhood.
The Festival takes place from 18 April to 19 May and this year’s theme is Connecting People, Places and the Past. The events take place at a variety of inner west venues, some rarely seen by the public.

We've a treat for cricket fans as we uncover the story of a little known Balmain sporting legend, Billy Murdoch and we welcome our special guest author John M. Wenitong who will give us an often overlooked Indigenous historical account one of our most famous explorers' expeditions in The Vanishing of Ludwig Leichhardt.

Below are some of the highlights but you can view the full program at www.innerwest.nsw.gov.au/HeritageFestival

This is always a popular festival so we suggest you book quickly for any events you want to attend.
