100 years of Marrickville Town Hall

Opening Marrickville Town Hall, 11 February 1922

Marrickville Town Hall was officially opened on 11 February 1922. To commemorate this anniversary, we have two special events and are calling for stories and images from the community.

Garden to Pardon - Local historian Chris Meader reflects on the events and community engagement that occurred from the roaring twenties to the present day.

Tour and talk with Wurlitzer music performance - Mark Matheson uncovers the secrets of the hall across a century of high drama and low intrigue.
