Footprints EcoFestival Sunday 27 August

Footprints EcoFestival is returning in 2023! Come along to Whites Creek Valley Park in Annandale from 11am – 3pm on Sunday 27 August for a family – friendly event with a focus on the environment and sustainable living.  

Footprints is all about celebrating nature and empowering the Inner West community to make more sustainable choices in everyday life. The festival will feature panel discussions, workshops, food and entertainment, and the park will host a wide range of sustainable stallholders, providing eco-alternatives for your home and body.  

Highlights of the day include:

- Panel Discussions: Empowering Communities moderated by Costa Georgiadis, Energising Australia's Future led by Robyn Williams and a community conversation: Where do I belong in the Climate Movement? Led by AJ Tennant 
 
- Introduction to Permaculture workshop with Pocket City Farms 

- Repair Cafes with The Bower 

- Shop Your Own Wardrobe Fashion Parade with Jo Gambale and Ali Dibley 

- On site tours of the wetlands, natural restoration areas, Food Forest and community garden Bush Tukka tours with Terry Lennis 

- Children's activities and performances by Charlie Mcgee of Formidable Vegetable and Amelie  

- Sydney Water’s Wonder of Water Van
