Environment grants now open

Dear resident,

I am writing to let you know that the Inner West's annual community grants have now opened for applications and to encourage you to apply.

Council's 2022 Annual Grants Program

These grants are available to assist local organisations and citizens to initiate programs and services at the grassroots level.

Inner West officers are available to help you write grant applications. All applications will be independently assessed without political interference.

In 2022, we are offering the following grants: 

  • Arts grants: Professional Creative Development grants up to $5,000 and Arts Project grants up to $10,000
  • Community History grants up to $5,000
  • Community Wellbeing grants up to $5,000
  • Community Wellbeing grants up to $20,000 (over two years)
  • Environment grants up to $10,000 (over two years)
  • Recreation grants up to $10,000 (over two years)
  • Wellbeing and Resilience for Multicultural Communities grants up to $5,000
  • Community Material small grants up to $400 (as needed)
  • Resident Association small grants up to $400 (as needed)

The Grants Program funding recommendations will go to the Council Meeting to be held on 8 November. Applicants will be notified the outcome of their application within three business days.

We look forward to receiving applications for a diversity of initiatives across the Inner West.
