Get involved in National Tree Day!

Inner West Council is excited to partner with Planet Ark this National Tree Day and invites you to join us in restoring Swamp Oak Floodplain Forest at the mouth of the Hawthorne Canal on Sunday 28 July.

Council's Urban Ecology team have hand selected a variety of local and endemic plants to provide crucial habitat for local birds, reptiles, marsupials and mammals.

Get your hands dirty during one of three planting sessions throughout the day and participate in a range of nature based activities to celebrate connecting with nature and your local community. No experience required - all ages welcome!
