Do you have an environmental project that needs a bit of a kick start? Inner West Council's Environment Small Grants offer up to $500 funding to support projects that will result in both positive environmental outcomes and community capacity building. Projects previously funded include Pocket City Farm’s Learn + Grow program, which aims to educate school-aged children on farming systems and the origin of their food through hands-on food growing activities and working farm tours. You can check out other funded projects on the Successful Environment Grants page. The Autumn round of the Environment Small Grants is now open, and closes at 5pm Monday 13 May. For more information contact Niki Huang on 9392 5516 or niki.huang@innerwest.nsw.gov.au or visit the Environment Grants page. |
