New food waste reduction initiatives

As part of our commitment to the Zero Waste Strategy and halving Australia’s food waste by 2030, Council is taking big strides to effectively manage food waste. Get involved now:  

  • Inner West Supper Club: check out the website to explore creative ways of cooking, preserving and planning for delicious meals.  
  • Save Time, Save Food workshop series: free interactive sessions led by food experts. Learn how to plan, store and prepare meals to save time, money and food, and win prizes on the day.  
  • Love Food Hate Waste x Cornersmith: watch free video tutorials that show you step by step how easy it is to change habits in the kitchen.  
  • Survey on your food habits: take the survey for a chance to win a $240 cheese platter or $100 vouchers for Cornersmith Cooking School.
