On the eve of World Environment Day Council is thrilled to be hosting a forum on Urban Ecosystem Restoration. Speakers are Kevin Spence (United Nations Association of Australia), James Bradley (critic and author Clade, Ghost Species) and Tealia Scott (Inner West Council). Join us on Friday 4 June at Marrickville Library Pavilion to hear about the importance of ecosystem restoration globally, including in our cities, and share stories of restoration across Australia and the Inner West.

World Environment Day is the start of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030). It aims to stimulate a global movement to prevent, halt and reverse ecosystem degradation and create a sustainable future for all.

Bring plant and animal biodiversity back to your garden and restore local ecosystems with the help of Council's Nature for Backyards guide. Learn more at the Wonderful World of Spiders webinar on Tuesday 15 June.
