Faced with the Covid19 travel restrictions, local artist René Vogelzang, explored and photographed every street in his neighbourhood.

The result is an online series, “Pandemic morning walks - a suburban lexicon”. Check out the full Q&A with René here.

This edition we also talk to multidisciplinary artist Elham Marvi who is exhibiting as part of the Refugee Week online exhibition with Inner West Council. "Design is a combination of colours, items, forms and materials that surrounds every individual and I have always endeavoured to create an artwork using materials I find around myself.

"This gives me motivation and courage to achieve what I do not have through what I have. In my view, artwork springs from inside of every individual and my work style reflects my lifestyle these days. Instability and my continuous struggle for certainty have a huge impact on how I express myself through my artworks," Elham Marvi said.
