Our new website - a sneak peek!

We are excited to announce that our new website is coming later this year, with a brand new look for Inner West and loads of new features.

We surveyed over 1200 people and held focus groups with community members, asking why people use the site and how they find information, and we have incorporated much of this feedback into a new design and web functions.

We’ll continue to keep you up to date as we move closer to announcing the launch date.

After launch, we’ll be asking for your feedback on how the website is working so we can continue to improve your online interactions with us.

Below is a sneak peak at some of the new features coming to the new site.

Home page and quick links

Our new home page has a new clean design with clear navigation. It includes easy ways to find out how to contact us and also a highly visible set of "Quick Links" featuring the top 12 actions people undertake on our current sites.

This includes environment news, arts and culture news, sport and recreation news, library news and general Council news. You can subscribe to one and/or all newsletters according to your needs.

We've been working closely with Accessibility consultants, Access Oz, to ensure we build and deliver a Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA compliant website.
