Expressions of interest for community bus hire in 2018
The annual Expression of Interest (EOI) process for regular hirers of community buses for the period January to December 2018 is now open.
Inner West Council aims to provide community buses that are accessible to local residents, groups and services and which meet the needs of the local community. The expression of interest process aims to ensure fair access and equity within the hiring of Council’s community buses.
The following buses are available to hire:
- 11 seater bus – Based at Leichhardt Town Hall. Available at subsidised rates for local, not-for-profit community groups. Hirer must provide their own driver.
- 19 seater bus – Based at Summer Hill. Available free of charge to local, not-for-profit community groups who service the frail aged and/or people with a disability. Hirer must provide their own driver and pay for their own diesel.
- 21 seater bus – Based at Balmain. Available at subsidised rates for local, not-for-profit community groups. Council provides a qualified driver with a first aid certificate.
More information on all three buses is available on the community buses page.
Completed expressions of interest must be received by Monday 23 October 2017.
