Launching our new Town Hall Festivals
The Town Hall Festivals program is a showcase of the Creative Town Halls program, introduced by Inner West Council to support our creatives through the use of Council venues.
Running over 2026 and 2027, each of Council’s seven town halls will be showcased with an event providing a dynamic program of creative activities and also provide the opportunity for the community to see how the town halls are used by Inner West creatives.
Following the launch of the Creative Town Halls project in May 2024, Council received significant interest and applications for free use of Council’s town halls in the first 2 months of the program. In October 2024, Council resolved to establish a program of Open Day Festivals across all seven town halls, following the success of the Creative Town Halls project, which was launched in May 2024. In November 2025, Council approved a draft program to deliver the first of the three new Town Hall Festivals in May 2026
