Self guided art tours
These public art maps features six outdoor trails in part of our local area, allowing you to visit six different outdoor “art galleries” – all proudly named after high achieving, hard working women from the area.
The six galleries are named after Beatrice Bush, Bronwyn Bancroft, Christina Stead, Dawn Fraser, Esther Abrahams, and Marietta Ballini. You can find out more about each of these women via the links below.
Public art makes a valuable contribution to an enlivened and vibrant locality, by complementing and building on the unique qualities of our streetscapes and town centres.
We are currently developing more self guided art tours including public art, studio trails, street art etc.
