A list of projects that the Living Arts team is currently working on with internal and external stakeholders.

Newtown ArtSeat

The Newtown ArtSeat presents art to the local community and gives artists and community groups a public space for the purpose of artistic outcomes. This space can be used for exhibitions, collaborative work, photography, multi-media or any other form of cultural expression.

The intiative is brought to you by Inner West Council, with support from Arts NSW and the City of Sydney.

Birrung Art Space

Birrung Art Space takes an innovative approach to fostering creativity and reducing graffiti. The partnership developed with a crew of aerosol artists in 1995, continues to this day. This collaborative approach to graffiti management has improved the site remarkably. The Birrung Park Art Space at Birrung Park, Donnelly Street, Balmain is not a legal wall. It formalised a framework to allow a group of artists to work in the space safely and legally offering locals a new series of artworks to enjoy.
