In 2022, Inner West Council became the first council in NSW to establish dedicated swim events for trans and gender diverse communities at its aquatic centres.
Held annually at Ashfield Aquatic Centre and Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre, these inclusive events provide a safe, welcoming and fun environment for trans and gender diverse people, their families, friends and allies.
Each event features free entertainment, food, fitness activities, community stalls and information from local LGBTQ+ sporting and community organisations.
Our events include free entertainment and food, fitness activities, community stalls, and information from local LGBTQ+ sporting clubs.
