Open Inner West
Open Inner West grants open from 5 October to 6 November
Open Inner West is a Council program which provides grants to the community to participate in a festival – 10 days celebrating culture and diversity in the inner west through storytelling, music, dance, film, art, theatre, food and workshops.
Open Inner West unlocks the talents and creativity of local communities and celebrates the many and varied cultures that reside here.
- Open Inner West cultural events and activities must take place between Friday 14 June to Sunday 23 June 2019 in a variety of locations across the Inner West Council local government area
- Funding of up to $6,000 is available for cultural events and activities to be held as part of Open Inner West 2019
- Community groups, schools, local artists, cultural groups and the general public are invited to submit an application for grant funding
- Council is looking for a range of activities such as cooking classes, poetry readings, craft and traditional arts workshops, exhibitions and cultural events. Please read the guidelines before applying for a grant
Applications open at 12pm (midday) on Friday 5 October 2018 and close at 12pm (midday) on Tuesday 6 November 2018.
Grant information sessions will be held on:
Wednesday 17 October, 11am to 12pm at Activity Room 3 (ground floor), 260 Liverpool Road, Ashfield
Wednesday 31 October, 5.30 - 6.30pm at Ngara Room (level 3), 2-14 Fisher Street, Petersham
