Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day held in late October celebrates the role grandparents and older people play in our society.

The day recognises the diversity of grandparent relationships across age groups, cultural backgrounds, and geographical locations.

We are holding a range of events for Grandparents Day in 2019  to promote two strong themes:

  • inclusiveness
  • cultural significance

The events showcase the new places and venues that Council has created to help foster inter-generational care and participation.

We hope you can join us!
