Carnival of Cultures

Carnival of Cultures is a colourful community event held annually at the beautiful Ashfield Park.

The event will celebrate the many cultures that make up our vibrant Inner West community through:

  • Great cultural performances
  • Delicious food
  • Market stalls
  • Fun activities for all ages

Main stage

  • 12:10pm: Inner West Vietnamese Community Language School
  • 12:30pm: Inspire Bellydance: Dances of the Middle East
  • 1:00pm: Sydney Dance Rhythms
  • 1:30pm: Sydney Self Defence Centre Chinese Self Defence
  • 1:55pm: Juventud Latina
  • 2:25pm: Andalus Arabic Choir
  • 3:05pm: Nadhamuni Gayatri

Food and beverages

There will be a range of stalls providing food and refreshments reflecting diverse cultures including the cuisines of Africa, Spain, Italy, Turkey and more! And not to worry, we will have your coffee needs covered with a mobile café available on the day.
