Tom Foster Community Care Programs

Tom Foster Community Care provides services to older people, people with a disability and carers who live in their own homes within the local area. These services assist individuals by providing a link to the community, improving health and well being and enhancing social opportunities.

Seniors Social Groups

Chinese Seniors group

This group meets on Mondays twice per month at Tom Foster Community Care. The seniors are interested in guest speakers, gentle exercise and singing and also go on bus outings.

Sydenham Tempe St Peters group

The Sydenham Tempe- St Peters Group go on a bus outing once a month on a Wednesday. The group members nominate the destinations.

Portuguese Seniors group

Seniors meet at Tom Foster Community Care on Thursdays. They also go on a bus outing once a month. The Seniors are interested in special events, playing cards and socialising.

Tom Foster Seniors Group

Members are picked up by The Tom Foster bus and brought into the centre on Fridays. They also go on a monthly bus outing. Activities include guest speakers, entertainment, trivia and gentle exercise.
Fees apply for all bus outings and centre based meals.

Seniors Exercise Groups

Gentle Exercise is held at Tom Foster Community Care from 11.15am to 12.15 pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.
Yoga group is held on the first Wednesday of every month from 11.00 am to 12.00pm.
Transport can be provided. Fees apply
