Haberfield turns 120 – Heritage village walk

The suburb of Haberfield celebrates its 120th birthday on 2 October. This picturesque suburb is known for its tree-lined streets, heritage listed federation style houses and immaculate gardens.

Take a tour of the first ever "garden suburb" with our pocket size self-guided heritage walk created by the Inner West Council and the Haberfield Association.

Starting from the Ramsay period when Yasmar and St David's Church were built in 1856 and 1869 respectively, the walk leads to Haberfield Village which was built during the Federation period and passes by the heritage signs installed at various viewing spots around the village.
