Returning to LPAC gym - questions and answers

How can I book a class?

Online using the link below, or by phone on (02) 9392 5400 (casual users will need to book their first session over the phone).

Do I need to book in for a gym session?

No. You no longer need to book a gym floor session. You will need to make sure you sign in to LPAC by swiping your membership card or signing in at reception if you are visiting as a casual.

How many classes can I book per week?

Commencing Monday 11th October, you can book up to 7 classes per week and bookings are available up to 5 days before the class starts.

Are you running the same class timetable as before?

No. We have an adjusted COVID-19 timetable which has been published on the LPAC home page. Please note there will be a limit of 20 people per class, with a run time of 45 minutes and bookings are essential.

 

If I book a class or a swim, can I use the gym after?

Yes. There is no need to book in to a gym floor sessions.

Can I start my personal training again?

Yes, personal training sessions available. Please email max.atmaca@innerwest.nsw.gov.au to discuss what is available.

I am a member. What Is happening with my membership?

All memberships will be reactivated on Monday 11th October.  If you do not wish to reactivate your membership, please email lpac.enquiries@innerwest.nsw.gov.au to discuss your options.

What COVID-19 protocols are in place in the gym?

In line with the NSW Public Health Guidelines you will be required to:
• Sign in using COVID safe check in
• Show proof of double vaccination if over the age of 16 either printed or digital.
• Wear a mask for the gym and fitness classes unless exempt. Proof of exemption is required.
• Minimise your time at the facility before and after your class.
• Maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres where possible.

Group fitness classes are capped at 20 participants and a 1 person per 4sqm capacity limit applies for the gym as per the NSW Public Health Guidelines.

Gym equipment should be cleaned after each use by person using the equipment.

What guidelines are in place when I return?

  • Do not attend the gym if you are feeling unwell
  • Our strict “no towel, no train” policy is still in place
