Schools

We offer school swimming programs which run once a week over a 7, 8 or 9 week period in terms 1 and 4.

Lessons are 45 minutes with high teacher to student ratios.

Our aim is to allow opportunities for local children to learn to swim and be aware of water safety and survival techniques.

We promote fun and enjoyment of the water for all ages and abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment.

All instructors are Austswim. Qualified. Lessons are conducted in our heated indoor program pool, the Olympic pool and the dive pool.

We deliver the Swim and Survive program as part of our comprehensive schools program which is endorsed by the Royal Lifesaving Society and Austswim.

Our varied program incorporates swim lessons, safety skills and other aquatic activities such as water polo, introduction to deep water swimming, wearing of personal flotation devices, water polo and school carnival race preparation which includes starts, turns, relay changeovers and race procedures.
