Creative and cultural resilience grants

Council’s Creative and cultural resilience grants program is now open and accepting applications until 17 May 2020.

The program offers $300,000 in new grant funding to support the Inner West’s creative and cultural sector through the impacts of COVID19.

Grants are available across two categories:

  • Artist and Creative Practitioner Grants for creative development, new work and adaptation projects for creatives (up to $5000)
  • Creative Spaces Grants to support survival and resilience in local creative spaces (up to $20,000)

The Grants are for projects to be delivered between July 2020 and 31 December 2020.

Council is also extending the acquittal dates of its current Arts and culture grants and Live music grants to 31 December 2020.

Council has created a support page for the local arts and cultural sector, which lists relevant grants, information and resources, including mental health support.
