2021 community material small grants
These projects are being implemented throughout 2021-2022.
Balmain High Slope Bushcare Group auspiced by Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus P&C Association
- Project: Signage for bushcare area of Balmain Campus, Sydney
- Funding: $400
This project is to install signs at the top and bottom of public walkway through the bushland area of the school campus, to explain its value to community, encourage volunteer bush carers and request walkers to keep dogs on leash.
The Village Project Summer Hill Co-operative
- Project: Plastic Fantastic Open Day. Sydney’s newest plastic recycling micro-factory in action!
- Funding: $400
This event is an Open Day focused on plastic recycling. The Village Project Summer Hill Co-operative are partnering with Defy Design who have created a microfactory to recycle plastic into bespoke items. A mobile machine will demonstrate how it works and educate the public about the new technology.
