Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists, with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit.
Ross was the legendary front man of band Daddy Cool, whose number one anthem Eagle Rock smashed all previous sales records in Australia.
In 1977, he then formed Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits ‘Cool World’, ‘State
of The Heart’, ‘Chemistry’, ‘No Time’, and ‘Come Said The Boy’.
Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson has written hits for
Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham and Joe Cocker, and produced smash hit albums
for Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons, Skyhooks and Screaming Jets.
Bridie King came to national prominence as a blues and boogie pianist with her recording of "Piano Frenzy" on The Hippos' album "Hippocracy" in 1988.
She has studied classical piano for 16 years and now teaches classical, blues and improvisation on piano at her busy home practice.
Bridie has had many overseas performers play as her special guests including Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix Band), Jimmy Vaughan (Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Thunderbirds), Johnnie Johnson and members of Dire Straits and Soko Richardson (Tina Turner's Band). She has also been a special guest to Blues guitar legend Albert Collins at Selina's, Coogee.
Bridie and the Boogie Kings have played regularly at the Bridge Hotel, Rozelle, plus other Sydney major Sydney Jazz venues.
