There are free cycling workshops in the week leading up to our final event, the Big Bike Day festival on Sunday 24 September. Drop by to celebrate all things cycling-related!
Sunday 17 September 2017, 9am–1:30pm
Whites Creek Valley Park, Annandale
Designed to improve your cycle skills and confidence while riding, this course is tailored to encourage safer cycling across the city and give you the flair you need to take to two wheels on a more regular basis.
Thursday 21 September 2017, 9am–1:30pm
Camperdown Community Meeting Room, Camperdown Park
This course is designed for those who want to be able to deal with common bike issues. You will learn about bicycle maintenance in a way that makes bicycle mechanics very easy to understand. Following the course you’ll feel empowered to tackle most of the issues you could be confronted with whilst out and about on your bike.
Friday 22 September 2017, 9am–1:30pm

The Rusty Rider Course is tailored for those who haven't ridden for a while and just need the confidence to start riding more regularly. This course is designed for those who know how to ride but need better bike handling skills before contemplating a ride on the road. It runs at a slower pace and develops the skills and confidence required to be an effective bike rider.
