UPSPACE OPEN @ Ultimo Project Inc (Studio 20)
OPEN: 13+14 and 20+21 May
Group Exhibition in UPSPACE 
The Ultimo Project Studio will have a group exhibition at its UP Space Gallery for both weekends. Participating artists include Paul Wan, Jan Fieldsen, Therese Kenyon, Sylvia Hermine, Mark Dubner, Anie Nheu, Gail Kenning, Adam Laerkesen, Barbara Licha, Jennifer Levitus, Wayne Hutchins, Tina Fiveash. The Ultimo Project Inc is a large self-managed studio space for over 20 artists in two buildings with one exhibition/project space.

Annual Group Show @ Factory 49 (Studio 2)
Our Annual Group show features work from the Committee, recently exhibited artists and alumni. Names are listed on our web site, with details of associated events, performances etc. With two exhibition spaces, an outside wall series and Paris projects, Factory 49 provides a platform for experimentation and exposure for artists whose work is non-objective, reductive, materials-based or process-driven. Horse @ Scratch Art Space (Studio 25)
Horse an exhibition from Grace Costa will be in the Gallery - some truly amazing shots of horses. Grace will give a floor talk at 2pm on Sunday 21 May.  11am – 5pm
There will also be a presentation of Proximity - Performance Art from 11am - 5pm.

Kirsty Collins Cooks River Studio Exhibition (Studio 10)
Join Kirsty at the Studio where she will be exhibiting her latest ceramic artwork and demonstrating her installation art process. There will also be a clay play table for children to experiment. Kirsty Collings was recently awarded a 'commendation’ at Rookwood Cemetery Sculpture Walk 2016.  Her home studio on the Cooks River has her latest artworks and installation artwork in progress.

Made in House @ MakerSpace &company (Studio 23)
Made In House is a celebration of work made by the MakerSpace community. With an exhibition of designs for the home, and live demonstrations of blacksmithing, sand-casting metal, machine knitting, ceramics, woodwork and more!   A huge workshop filled with machinery (wood, metal, ceramic, electronics, textiles and printmaking), friendly staff and a phenomenal creative community, come and take a look, take a class or join!

Revolution:  A Group Show @Tortuga Studios
OPENING: 19 May, 6pm – 9pm  
Tortuga Studios is a collaborative hub for 25 artists and makers. In an old brick factory in the heart of St Peters, Tortuga Studios is an eclectic, multi-disciplinary warehouse space/ gallery.

Those in Stone Houses @ Stonevilla (Studio 27)
Stonevilla Studios will host an exhibition titled, Those in Stone Houses. Six artists will exhibit their latest work in their studio running for the whole day. Participating artists are Nick Strike, Luke Parker, Michelle Hanlin, Stephen Ralph, Sam Whittingham and Trevor Fry. Nick Strike will be providing a film screening of his films 'Box of Clouds', 'Burn Diver' and 'Time on Ice' thought the day.

AirSpace Artist Talks (Studio 17)
2pm - 3pm; The May exhibitions will conclude with artist talks by Misael M., Eunjoo Jang and Stella Chen, followed by casual conversation with the artists.
Also visit our four contemporary gallery spaces in a funky warehouse showcasing the work of both emerging and well-known established artists, and check out the workshop and artist studios.

The Future of Arts in our Neighbourhood @ Frontyard Projects (Studio 7)
2pm - How can people have a say in shaping the future of their neighbourhoods? Frontyard, believe that independent creative spaces is vital to this discussion. We will be working together with experts who have been actively working towards alternative futures to articulate alternative and preferred futures that matter to us, focusing on three issues. Bring your wild and modest ideas, your critiques of the status quo, and an open mind. We will be documenting our discussion and feeding back to government and industry as part of the process. What is the future of the ARTS in our neighbourhoods?¨Who should fund the arts? What does urban renewal mean for independent creative spaces? What can we learn from gentrification that will give communities the ability to actively shape creative futures?

The Rizzeria is a non-profit collective run by people who are designers, artists, zine-makers and creative entrepreneurs. Rizzeria owns a Risograph press which is available for public use.

Nick Strike will be providing a film screening of his films Box of Clouds, Burn Diver and Time on Ice throughout the day.
Luke Parker will be demonstrating how to make an Cyanotype (a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print using the sun) starting at 12pm.
