Sensitive Receivers: Rejecting WestCONnex
In an ex-shopfittings-factory home studio, Sensitive Receivers: Rejecting WestCONnex presents the urgent work of 40 inner-west artists and activists + screenings of TUNNEL VISION (Ivan Hexter 2016). Up the hill on Victoria Road WestCONnex proposes to demolish 27 homes and businesses for a tollway/tunnel no-one needs.

Leather Headpiece @ Embellish Atelier (Studio 14)
Embellish Atelier makes hats and headpieces for all occasions. Regular workshops are conducted. Book for this workshop weekend and make a gorgeous headpiece from leather trimmed with a leather flower.
Kids Art Paste-Ups (Studio 19)
A free workshop for ages 7+
Come and be part of a collaborative pasteup mural for the Art on the Greenway. Design and draw your favourite native animal on site to be added to the Urban Forest installation by local artists Alessandro Berini and Selina Springett. Be part of transforming the bridge space into an Urban Forest for the duration of the exhibition.

Beginners Resin Casting Workshop
Learn how to cast resin jewellery in a small and intimate class. Tutor Nadine Sharpe will take the time to ensure that you get a complete grasp of all the skills you need to successfully make resin jewellery at home. As a participant of this workshop you'll learn the art of resin casting using fast curing resin. By the end of this workshop you'll be able to take home four unique and beautiful pieces of Jewellery created by you.
10am to 1.30pm at Breathing Colours Studio, 760 Darling Street, Rozelle (Beside Le Coq, French restaurant)
Cost: $145/ person, which includes the use of the tutors extensive range of pre-made silicone ring and bangle moulds, fast curing resin, pigments, tools, materials, comprehensive notes covering the technical aspects of resin casting and tea & coffee. Lunch: the Studio has easy access to a range of restaurants & cafes.

Etelage Class - Mothers Day Beading Basics
No experience necessary when you join tutor Christine Smalley and learn the two most commonly used techniques in costume jewellery making (stringing and linking beads) plus Loads of finishing touches and professional tips Learn to string beads on wire and finish off with a clasp. How to individually link beads to make a "rosary" style bead chain. You'll be able to take home an illusion choker strung on flex wire & simple drop earrings using Czech glass crystals A linked crystal choker & earrings. Make and finish the pieces in your choice of colour.

Weaving with Wool + Nature (Studio 18)
A workshop for kids with artist Jann French. 11-1pm. Ages 5 +
Visit the Nanny Goat Hill Artists at the Jimmy Little Centre to see photos by Gregory Foulds, and watercolours by the Lilyfield Watercolour group at the same time.
