Contemporary Luxe focuses on the tonal combinations of rich and luscious
colour together with the simpler considered form of the fluid organic
circle, influenced in part by our Australian culture - an Island
Continent surrounded by water. All welcome.

Canal Road Film Studios Tour
hidden, largely unknown, 3.5 hectare site on Hawthorne Canal is the
operational base for a number of technicians, artisans and other
practitioners in the feature and documentary film industry. It is also
the production base
for much of the quality Australian television drama production seen on
our screens today. Here is an opportunity to gain some insight into this
world with a "taster" tour of some unique aspects of the art of film

Cultural and Industrial Heritage: Exploring the Sydenham Creative Hub
(Studio 25 - Green Precinct)
What does cultural and industrial heritage mean for urban renewal? Join Frontyard at Scratch Art Space for a futuring discussion about the Sydenham Creative Hub. We will explore the questions: What kinds of spaces are needed to keep creativity flowing in neighbourhoods? Are there unexplored synergies between the needs of artists and manufacturers that can help shape more creative futures for everybody? In this session we will be hearing from experts who have been actively working towards alternative futures and we will work together to articulate alternative and preferred futures that matter to us. Bring your wild and modest ideas, your critiques of the status quo, and an open mind.

This exhibition showcases the diverse talents of emerging and established artist and musicians who reside at Alpha Artist cooperative, covering photography, paintings, mixed media and hand-made instruments.An artist cooperative with a history spanning 20 years. The Gallery and studios showcase the works of the established and emerging artists who work in the Gallery.
