Community engagement strategy
To work towards the community vision and directions of the Community Strategic Plan, Council develops two key documents.
These are called the Delivery Program (spanning four years) and the Resourcing Strategy (spanning up to 20 years).
Delivery Program
The Delivery Program is a four year plan which outlines Council's commitment to achieving the outcomes and strategies of the Community Strategic Plan.
It sets out the initiatives that Council will undertake during its four year term of office. More detailed annual actions to implement the initiatives in the Delivery Program can be found in Council's annual Operational Plan and Budget.
The current Delivery Program and Operational Plan and Budget were adopted in June 2023.
Resourcing Strategy
The Resourcing Strategy sits alongside the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program and Operational Plan and Budget to show how Council will resource its long-term commitments.
It consists of asset, workforce and financial plans.
