Bike sharing

Dockless bike share allows you to access a bicycle through a smartphone app.

To get on a bike you need to sign up with one of the operators below. You can then use a smartphone app to locate a bike and unlock the bike. Bikes can be picked-up and dropped off from almost anywhere, and can be used for one-way or return trips. Please ensure you place the bike in a safe location where it does not block access for pedestrians.

You need to wear a helmet and obey by NSW road rules.

Reporting abandoned or broken bikes

Please report any abandoned or broken bikes to the relevant operator. Changes to the law in November 2018 aim to ensure operators respond quickly when bikes are causing an obstruction or safety problem. You can see more information about these laws at https://www.olg.nsw.gov.au/sharebikes

Bikes in canals or waterways should be reported to Sydney Water on 13 20 90 or www.sydneywater.com.au
