Brand agency to design new Inner West Council visual identity
Brand agency For The People has been appointed to develop Inner West Council's new visual identity.
The decision was made after an extensive EOI process by a nine person panel that included four community and business members.
Council undertook community visioning work and engagement prior to the EOI process. This will form the foundation for the new visual identity – one that will better reflect Inner West’s people and place.
The current Inner West Council logo was designed in-house as an interim solution in response to the sudden amalgamation in 2016. It was always intended for short-term use only.
The new visual identity project is expected to be finalised by June 2019.
The community will be invited to get involved and provide input and feedback in February 2019.
