Waste services
Garbage/Recycling/Green waste collections
All garbage/recycling/green waste services will be completed on your NORMAL day.
Collections are operating on ALL public holidays (Monday 27 December, Tuesday 28 December, and Monday 3 January)
Report a missed bin collection
Weekend Transfer Station and Community Recycling Centre
The Weekend Transfer Station and both Community Recycling Centre’s will be CLOSED on Saturday 25 December, Sunday 26 December, Saturday 1 January and Sunday 2 January.
The Weekend Transfer Station and Community Recycling Centre’s will be back to normal operating hours on 8 and 9 January 2022.

Customer Service Centres
- Customers can contact council 24 hours a day 7 days a week on 02 9392 5000.
- Outside of business hours, calls route to our after-hours service who manage requests for urgent matters such as, dangerous and/or hazardous situations, dog attacks or unauthorised building works, tree removals, street closures etc.
- Council’s online request system and online applications remain accessible to customers 24 hours a day 7 days a week over the Christmas period.
