Treading Lightly: Hand-Carved Stamps & Gift Tags

A workshop to create personalised gift tags / swing tags for
recycled items (clothes, books, jewelry) to add a touch of glamour and
explain in the giver's own words why they have chosen to gift a re-used
or recycled product.
What participants will make and do:
- Participants will carve their own stamps and use inks to print these
onto recycled card – making customised, attractive and unique gift tags
that include a message of giving recycled
- This is a hands-on workshop, where all participants will have the opportunity to make something to take home.
What participants will learn:
- Why recycled gifts could be considered as part of a more sustainable lifestyle
- How consumption contributes to local and global environmental issues
This is a free event that requires registration.
