Celebrate the delights of local hidden gem, Dulwich Hill. Ready to shine for the festival’s return to the streets, streetscapes will come alive with live music, foodie treats and more!

2023 Dulwich Hill Festival

Dulwich Hill Festival will celebrate all that is loved about the village and community. There will be foodie delights galore from local eateries, local live music curated by Butchers Brew Bar, a takeover of Seaview Street car park by the Next Gen Stage and art installation by Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design, abundant tales courtesy of Gleebooks, plus much more!

Main Stage, presented by Butchers Brew Bar

Local outfit Butchers Brew Bar have curated the excellent line up of artists on the Main Stage for the festival this year. Expect plenty of danceable tracks with groove, soul and funk featuring heavily across the artists' repertoires. Check it out below!

10:10am - Mitch Anderson Band

Soul, Blues, Funk, Reggae, Rock. Feel the Healing power with the mighty Harry Brus on bass, Ewan Lund on guitar, Keith Sullivan on drums, Ross Middleton on sax, Grant Naylor on percussion and Mitch Anderson himself on keys and vocals. Super funky and supernatural.

11:30am - Daniel March presents The Modern Artefact

The Modern Artefact is a Sydney-based neo-soul/ funk band fronted by Daniel March on lead vocals and guitar.  Daniel is an exceptionally talented artist, songwriter and music producer from Inner West Sydney, who is also making waves on the global independent music scene.  His versatility and unique approach to music have made him a force to be reckoned with in the soul genre and beyond.

12:45pm - Juanita Tippins Band

Local artist Juanita Tippins presents her collection of soul and reggae songs from her NITA project.

A 10-piece powerhouse of mighty funk horns, soul vocals, infectious grooves and above all, great original songs!

3:00pm - Craig Calhoun & The Brothers of Oz

Auslan Interpreted

Craig Calhoun and the Brothers of Oz are legends on the Sydney funk scene, renowned for their energy, groove and stage presence.  The man they call “CC” has been ‘Slappin da Bass’ to the delight of audiences across the USA, Europe, Australia and Asia.  His career includes opening shows for Santana, Joe Cocker, Kool & The Gang, working with the Motown Supremes, Will Calhoun of ‘Living Colour’, as well as Australian icons Marcia Hines, Jimmy Barnes, Kevin Borich, Diesel, Renee Geyer and John Farnham.

Stationed in Seaview Street Car Park, be stunned with the upcoming talent on our Next Gen Stage. Featuring performances from local schools Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design as well as Dulwich Hill Public School, bring your best cheers for these incredible young people.
