Branches – bundled and tied

You can also place the following materials on the kerbside for collection on the same day as your green-lidded bin, provided they are in tied bundles (cut to lengths of 1 metre):

  • Tree branches up to 150mm in diameter
  • Untreated and unpainted timber

Please tie bundles with a natural material that will break down (e.g. rope, natural string or twine) and NOT a synthetic material or wire, as this interferes with the machinery used in the composting process.
